Dear Prospective Buyers:
7134 Clarendon St holds a special place in my family’s heart. The home and West San Jose/Cupertino neighborhood was the perfect place to start and raise a family. We always felt supported and welcomed by our neighbors.
What we will miss most about this house is the convenience. Not only is the highway exit a 2 min drive away, but we have been spoiled by the proximity to groceries, restaurants and cafes. Trader Joes is literally around the corner, walking distance. And, if you love food like us, this place is definitely for you! Not only are we close to so many Asian Markets like H Mart and 99 Ranch, there is also a plethora of cafes, boba, dessert, and brunch options. Cupertino Main is 5 minutes drive away and our family would frequently visit Philz coffee on a lazy Sunday morning during the summer for a cup of ice Philtered Soul. It was perfect. It is truly a gem to find a location with such close proximity to all these amazing food and market spots.
A hidden gem of the neighborhood is Calabazas Park. The park is especially appealing for dog owners as the park is a local gathering spot for dog parents, especially on warm summer days! My daughter enjoyed the toddler and younger section of the playground structures with all the well maintained slides and swings!
Our house is also very close to Cupertino Community Library which is an amazing resource for younger kids. They have book readings every Tuesday and boast a variety of different family activities for babies and toddlers.
Although this house is in West San Jose, it is extremely close to Cupertino meaning you have access to the amazing schools such as Joaquin Miller Middle School and Lynbrook High School, a 2024 California Distinguished School. The education is top notch and there is no lack of tutoring academies and super curricular activities around us such as DACA Swim Center, Mightfist Taekwon-Do, and Visionary Art School. The best part, they are all walking distance from the complex!
Our father purchased the residence in 2011 and has approached remodeling and ongoing maintenance with the perspective of making this comfortable for our new family. Esthetic renovations were also made in 2019 supported with high end hardware and beautiful tiling to establish a mid century modern look to our home. The common area living space is an open floor plan concept that we use often for entertaining friends. The large space is also where we spend most of our time together as a family cooking, eating, working on projects, and watching movies.
While our growing family has opened a new chapter for our family outside of this area, I know this home will provide a new family with many years of joy, memories, and a full belly. 🙂
