Letter from Seller of 660 inwood dr, campbell:
Dear Prospective Buyers of 660 Inwood Dr, Campbell:
We wanted to share with you what makes the San Tomas Aquino Neighborhood and Inwood Dr in particular so special to us.
This was the perfect place for us as a young family – quiet, safe, peaceful, and within walking distance to Forest Hill Elementary and many parks. Aside from riding our bikes and scooters to school, we loved walking to the YMCA for a swim, and also to San Tomas Park and Jack Fischer Park. John D Morgan park is also a favorite, and has recently been remodeled. The neighborhood is conveniently located by Nob Hill Plaza, Whole Foods Market, Trader Joes, Target, Mitsuwa, Lion Market, Sutton Swim School, and Westgate Mall.
The gem of the San Tomas Aquino neighborhood is the schools, parks, and location to great shopping plazas. Forest Hill Elementary (10 minute walk) is an amazing place – from cultural exhibitions to pot-lucks and school plays, the PTA is very welcoming to new students (and returning students). Every family feels welcome. Both our children thoroughly enjoyed going to school every day. The teachers here are excellent, we could not have asked for better educators and role models. On the weekends, the kids ride their bikes to Westmont High school and play tennis. We are also 10 mins away from Los Gatos Creek park, where people enjoy hiking the trails, riding their bikes, viewing the scenic lakes, and taking their pets to the dog park there. In November last year, salmon sightings were a delight, as they range from ½ lbs to 30 lbs. In addition, Westgate Mall and Westgate West is a ten minute drive and conveniently located for Target-runs and/or family movie nights.
On our street, Inwood Dr, our neighbor across the street will often send out mail for a backyard BBQ gathering – to know who’s who and to get to know one another. The kids on our street often send each other mail to share funny stories and jokes.
We bought our home in 2018 and enjoyed upgrading the home. We remodeled everything, including the kitchen, bathrooms, windows/sliding glass patio doors, engineered wood floors, complete with a fresh coat of paint. We added new insulation in the attic. We added a bathtub and shower combination, as the kids love to take baths, and the magnetic shower head can be easily removed for rinsing ease. We added recessed lighting throughout the home. We also updated the kitchen cabinets and made customized organizers and pull-out trays on each shelf for easy and efficient storage and access of pots, pans, and snacks. The window blinds are custom ordered and when opened, they contain a screen, as it lets in the view and light, while maintaining your privacy.
We also upgraded the outdoor landscape. In the front yard, we had pavers installed and a gazebo for outdoor lounging. In the backyard, we added a patio with trex decking, put in artificial turf, and garden planters. We added a playground for the kids, and they (along with the neighborhood kids) have spent many happy days playing in the backyard. We added a compact and retractable clothing line on the backyard post – this can be pulled out and secured to the lemon tree branch when in use, and neatly retracted back to the fence post after use.
As you can see, we love our home on Inwood Dr. It is hard for us to leave this neighborhood and our friends as we relocate. This home was very loved and taken care of. We sincerely hope that you will create as many wonderful memories as we have!
