Dear Prospective Buyers for 3030 Santa Maria Ave, Santa Clara, 

We wanted to share with you what makes our property in Santa Maria Ave so special to us. We moved into this neighborhood 8 years ago as owners. We chose the neighborhood for its central location and safety. It’s a short drive to the neighboring cities and San Jose Airport. It’s located near the major street, El Camino Real, with many grocery stores and great restaurants. Our neighborhood is also very safe. We never had to worry about having our packages stolen from the porch.

We bought our home in 2017 and have enjoyed customizing the home to our needs.  We upgraded the 2nd floor patio to trex material. We re-plumbed the whole house water lines to copper and installed a water conditioner / filtration system for healthier water and less sediment build up throughout the house. We installed a brand new furnace, a water heater, and appliances when we moved in, which are all readily available for you as the new owner. In total we spent about $100,000 during our ownership to update/improve the systems & components of the home for our comfort including preparing the home for sale and making the home move in ready for the next owner. We absolutely love our fruit trees in the backyard. We have meyer lemon, orange, fig, kumquat, and persimmon trees, which bear fruits in different seasons throughout the year.

There are many perks living in Santa Clara. Santa Clara Utilities offers discounts and assistance programs for water, electricity, and trash disposal. It also has an annual clean up campaign where you can set out bulk items not routinely collected by weekly garbage, yard trimming and recycling collection services. This usually takes place in early May for our neighborhood. The proximity to many high quality employers in various fields including tech, cloud services, financial, and medical in the area provided us with many opportunities to work at great companies nearby with a reasonable commute.

We love our home on Santa Maria Ave. It is a quiet and friendly neighborhood. It is hard for us to leave as we pursue other opportunities, but we sincerely hope that you will create as many wonderful memories here as we have!
